Dr. Ehsan Khan is a dedicated coronary and structural interventional cardiologist currently serving as a Staff Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre. He has expertise in complex coronary (coronary stenting) and structural interventions, including aortic (TAVI), mitral and tricuspid valve interventions, and PFO closures.

After completing his cardiology training at Flinders Medical Center in 2020, Ehsan undertook a 2-year coronary and structural interventional fellowship at Flinders Medical Centre from 2021 to 2023. Subsequently, he completed a specialised structural interventional fellowship at the prestigious Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK focusing on mitral and tricuspid valve interventions between 2023 and 2024.

With a strong passion for research and academia, Ehsan holds a Masters of Medicine from the University of Sydney, focusing on Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. This dedication to advancing medical knowledge has been recognized through several national prizes and scholarships. He is well-published in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented findings at both national and international conferences, predominantly focusing on acute coronary syndromes.

Currently, Ehsan is in the final stages of completing a PhD at Flinders University. His innovative research is focused on enhancing patient outcomes by integrating artificial intelligence into healthcare systems for clinical decision support in patients with acute coronary syndrome.
