Suchi Grover
General Cardiologist

Dr Grover completed her medical degree from the University of Auckland in 2003 and her specialisation in Cardiology at Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2009.  Suchi continued her studies achieving her PhD in 2014 through Flinders University, investigating the Imaging and Biochemical Biomarkers of Heart Injury in various disease states.

Suchi is a Clinical Cardiologist with a special interest in cardio-oncology, cardiomyopathy and cardiovascular imaging.  She is also staff specialist at Flinders Medical Centre, where she coordinates the cardio-oncology service and a valued member of the heart failure and imaging service.

Suchi is the Australian representative for the Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging and is a member of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.  She is a senior lecturer at Flinders University and Director of Physician’s training at Southern Adelaide Local Health network.

She is well published in peer-reviewed international journals, is actively involved in scientific committees of international meetings and enjoys teaching at all levels including general practitioners, nursing staff and junior medical staff.

Suchi has a patient centred approach believing in excellent communication and keeping the patient well informed.  She believes strongly, that understanding your cardiac issues play a crucial part in managing your health and staying well. Her special interest is caring for patients who have received or are receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy.  Her philosophy is to prevent the cancer patient of today from becoming the heart patient of tomorrow.

Suchi strongly believes in early detection and addressing risk factors for preventing heart disease.
